Message from Chancellor Marye Anne Fox

Dear UC San Diego Students, Faculty, and Staff:

At UC San Diego, we are committed to creating and maintaining a community in which everyone can work and learn together in an atmosphere free of all forms of harassment, including sexual harassment, exploitation or intimidation. As your Chancellor, I want to take this opportunity to reaffirm that UC San Diego does not tolerate sexual harassment; such behavior is prohibited by law and by UC San Diego policy.

UC San Diego encourages education as the best way to work toward a harassment-free community. We provide this interactive computer program which is designed to inform all members of the UC San Diego community about sexual harassment -- what it is and how to prevent it in both the academic and workplace settings.

Creating a harassment-free community requires ongoing commitment on the part of everyone. I thank you for taking the time to be informed on this serious issue.
