Message from HARRP CEO William Gregory
Dear Housing Authority Employee:
Welcome to HARRP’s training modules for Sexual Harassment. We are pleased you’ve elected to utilize this valuable resource for training.
Over the past seven years, more definitive requirements associated with workplace harassment and discrimination have evolved, from both legislative changes and case law. Today, employers and employees have guidelines that are clear and concise as to what constitutes harassment and methods of countering the effects and risk associated with this type of employment liability.
It is imperative that employers train and monitor workplace activities, as jury awards and penalties are staggering! The fact that you have accessed our training indicates your commitment to your employer and HARRP in controlling the costs associated with these risks.
The training is broken down into three (3) categories, as follows;
- Non-supervisory employees,
- Supervisors, not located in California, and
- Supervisors located in California, (AB 1825). This module is interactive.
Documentation of the training is provided at the conclusion of the module. I want to personally thank you for your utilization of HARRP’s on-line training. HARRP is dedicated to providing high level, effective tools to assist you in managing your risk. As always, if you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact us!
Sincerely,
William Gregory
Executive Director
