Message from the President

Germanna Community College is committed to providing a working and learning environment defined by civility and mutual respect. We strive to maintain a climate that does not tolerate any form of discrimination or harassment, including sexual harassment.

In keeping with this commitment, we contract annually with New Media Learning to provide an on-line training called “Preventing Sexual Harassment”. The program is a way for members of the Germanna community to gain a better understanding of what constitutes sexual harassment, as outlined by current laws. Although this training focuses primarily on sexual harassment, the principles it teaches can be applied to all forms of harassment.
