Message from President James Linksz

Sexual harassment has no place at Bucks County Community College. It does not fit the climate of respect, civility, and true academic freedom that are the cornerstones of our collegiate community.

Yet the complex work and learning environment of a college sometimes place special burdens on the faculty and staff to be sensitive to the diversity of circumstances which bring us together, and to the growing prospects of litigation in our society. Hence, it behooves all of us to be familiar with the latest information in this important area so as to avoid placing ourselves and the institution at risk, and in turn compromising the environment we seek to create.

This interactive learning program provides information on this complex topic in a way that assists the members of the college community in better understanding current laws, definitions and distinctions. It further provides guidance on relevant questions and actions to assist avoidance and response to matters of Sexual Harassment.
