Message from Delvick McKay,
Personnel Director
The City of Dothan is committed to providing a positive work environment in which all employees are treated with dignity and respect. In keeping with our commitment, the City of Dothan adheres to a strict policy on harassment and discrimination.
This required, on-line program outlines the current law on employment discrimination and uses examples to illustrate the kinds of words and behaviors that might reasonably be regarded as discriminatory. Please approach the material seriously and take away from this training a personal commitment to comply with the law and to treat your fellow employees with respect.
We all share in the responsibility of creating and maintaining an environment that recognizes the worth and potential of every individual. Our success depends on your commitment to uphold these ideals.
Each of us must share some responsibility for a harassment-free environment. I ask every City of Dothan employee to approach this material seriously and to take away from this training a personal commitment to comply with the law and with our policy of any form of harassment at the City of Dothan.
Thank you in advance for participating in the training and sharing Dothan's commitment to this important issue.
If you should ever have any questions or concerns, please contact your manager or call the Director of Personnel in our HR Department at (334) 615-3180.
Thank you.
